Paul van Wetering has been interested in Feng Shui since 1998. He has studied Classical Feng Shui in London, Sydney, Kyoto, Shanghai and Tibet, including:

February 2001, Feng Shui and Advanced Chinese Astrology Study with Lindy Baxter, including Flying Stars, I Ching Astrology, Purple Star and Four Pillars

October 2000, Feng Shui Study Tour of Kyoto, Shanghai, and Tibet

  • Twenty-eight day tour of Feng Shui gardens and Buddhist temples and monasteries
  • Eight days of lectures in Shanghai with Professors Szeto Rhongsheng, Cheng Jian Jun and Wang Yu-De. Lectures included Principles of Gardens, Form School Principles, Flying Star and the Flying Star Oracle, I Ching and I Ching Numerology, Chinese Rulers and Measurements, The Lo Pan Compass, Advanced Compass School Formulas, Symbolism, and case studies.
  • Lectures in Tibet on Buddhism, the Bon religion, Feng Shui and the Samye Monastery, presented by Professors Nga Wang Denzang, Suo Lan Qun Pei and Cai Dan Zhaxi from Lhasa University

March 2000 to December 2000, Roger Green’s Practitioner Training Course in Sydney including Symbolism, Form School, Compass Schools, I Ching, Four Pillars Astrology, Flying Star, Lo Pan Compass and Feng Shui Gardens

Paul is a lecturer at Auckland’s Unitec School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
